Ask four questions before paying

• Does the rate cover overnight parking, and what time does the next charge begin?
• Are in-and-out privileges included?
• Is the facility self-park, valet or off-site, and is space guaranteed?
• Are taxes, oversized-vehicle charges or valet gratuities additional?

The difference between two parking rates only matters on the days you have a car. Check whether a late return or next-morning pickup turns a one-day outing into an overnight parking charge.

Compare parking inside the stay total

Use the hotel-cost tool to add parking to lodging and rental inputs. Enter rental days and charged parking nights separately, using the counts in your quote. A same-day rental returned before the branch closes may need no hotel parking; a car kept overnight usually needs a parking plan.

Do not budget on finding free street parking. Restrictions, walking distance and available spaces can change. A lower parking bill can be outweighed by a higher room total or transport to an off-site garage.
